Finding Strength in Jesus: God of Refuge

March 12, 2026 | 1 min read
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
- Psalm 46:1

Bible Verse:

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. There are moments when fear, pain, disappointment, and uncertainty surround us like a storm. But as believers, we are not left without shelter. God Himself is our refuge — a safe place where we can run for peace, strength, and protection.

A refuge is a place of safety during danger. When the pressures of life become too heavy, God invites us to come to Him instead of carrying our burdens alone. His presence gives comfort to the weary, courage to the fearful, and hope to the brokenhearted.

Even when situations do not change immediately, God remains faithful. He stands beside us in every battle and never abandons His children. The world may shake, but those who trust in the Lord can stand firm because He is their strong foundation.

Today, remember that you do not have to face your struggles by yourself. Run to God in prayer. Rest in His promises. He is your protector, your peace, and your strength.
