Morning Devotion:
Peace is not found in the absence of trouble, but in the assurance that God is with you through it all because Storms in life are inevitable—moments of fear, uncertainty, pain, and confusion. But God never promised a life without storms; He promised His presence in the midst of them.
When the winds rage and the waves rise, it’s easy to focus on the chaos. Yet, true peace comes when we shift our focus from the storm to the Savior. Just as Jesus calmed the sea, He can calm your heart. Trusting Him doesn’t always remove the storm immediately, but it gives you a quiet strength to endure it.
Hold on to God’s promises. Anchor your thoughts in His truth. Even in the darkest storm, His peace is available to you—steady, unshaken, and perfect.
Morning Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
In the midst of life’s storms, Help me turn to You. When fear tries to overwhelm me, remind me that You are near. Fill my heart with Your perfect peace and help me to trust You even when I don’t understand what’s happening. Calm every anxiety within me and strengthen my faith to stand firm. Thank You for being my refuge and my peace.
