“But I am poor and needy; make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.” — Psalm 70:5

Some moments when you are in poor state, you feel completely helpless—when resources are low, strength is gone, and hope seems distant. This verse reminds us that being poor and needy is not a weakness before God—it is a position that draws His attention.

God does not ignore the cry of the needy. In fact, He responds quickly to those who depend on Him. When everything else fails, God remains your Help and Deliverer. He sees your struggles, He knows your needs, and He is never late.
